Use the tools,
safely.

Buying AI licenses is easy; changing how ~9,000 people work is not. The AI Adoption Accelerator replaces "we bought you licenses, go figure it out" with a small set of repeatable habits — anchored by the 5-Part Prompt — that lift real adoption, protect company data, and produce measurable time savings.

01.
The challenge

Licenses bought, adoption stalled

Vantage Technologies rolled out ChatGPT Enterprise and Microsoft Copilot to its workforce — then watched usage stay low and uneven. People were unsure when AI was appropriate, how to prompt it, how to use it safely, and how to use it responsibly.

Worse, the vacuum pulled work toward consumer tools. A third of employees admitted pasting work into personal AI apps — shadow AI that quietly routes confidential data outside the company's protected, contracted tools.

Who it's for

Four segments, fluency from low to high

The tone is permission-giving for low-confidence learners, with optional "go deeper" callouts for technical roles. Nothing is fear-based or jargon-gated — AI is framed as a way to get time back, not a compliance hoop or a threat to anyone's job.

The behavior shift

One loop, one prompt structure, one data rule

Every AI task runs through one behavioral spine, named identically across every lesson, job aid, and activity. Decide whether AI is appropriate and safe, Craft the prompt with a repeatable structure, Verify the output before you use it.

The centerpiece — the AI-enablement analog of CyberSafe's 5-Flag Scan. Stop typing wishes; start writing briefs. Most weak answers are a prompt missing Context or Constraints.

The build

Five modules, from "why now" to a daily habit

Modules move from motivation → the core skill (prompting) → safe & responsible use → role-aware workflow → habit formation. Every lesson follows one rhythm: Hook → Why it matters to you → How it works → Do this → Check.

The Smart-AI Six — the daily habit set

Decide first · Use the 5-Part Prompt · Approved tools only · Verify everything · Keep a human in the loop · Cite & disclose. Six habits, one line each, carried on a downloadable job aid. The course closes with a "commit to one habit" reflection that calls back to the "set your intention" opener — bookending the experience with personal goal-setting so a single behavior actually leaves the final screen.

Design decisions

What makes it expert work, not a tool demo

i

Permission before proficiency

Low-confidence learners don't adopt a tool they're afraid of misusing. The voice gives permission first — "you haven't been doing it wrong" — which is what actually unlocks the first prompt.

Andragogy · learner safety
ii

One named framework

The 5-Part Prompt is numbered 1–5 and torn down in a labeled graphic. Numbering a graphic to a named framework is what turns a decorative image into an instructional one.

Cognitive load · transfer
iii

Security woven in, once, cleanly

The Traffic-Light check ties responsible use to the prompting skill without turning a prompting lesson into a policy lecture. Adoption and safety move together, not in tension.

Responsible AI · data handling
iv

One consistent system

The single-behavior spine, lesson rhythm, and format are shared with CyberSafe Remote and the New Manager Accelerator — the 5-Part Prompt is the deliberate sibling of the 5-Flag Scan.

Modeled outcomes

Designed to move adoption, mapped to Kirkpatrick

Success is read as a change in behavior — daily, safe use — not a completion rate. Targets are instrumented through xAPI, license-usage telemetry, DLP signals, and an AI-usage survey, so "did it work?" is answered with data.

Reflection

What I'd build next

The course proves the habits and the system. A second release would push adoption from "knows how" to "does it daily."

  • Role-based prompt libraries. Curated, vetted starter prompts per function, so the first win lands in minutes, not weeks.
  • A manager enablement track. Coaching scripts and team rituals so people managers can model and protect AI habits.
  • A live "Verify" simulation. A Storyline scenario where learners catch a hallucination and a Red-data paste under realistic deadline pressure.
  • The portable lesson. Adoption is a behavior-design problem — give people one framework, one loop, and one data rule, and the tool finally gets used.
